1、 Block and granular hot melt adhesive
This kind of hot melt glue has a large output. The blocky ones are square, round, and the granular ones are flat, rhombic, and cylindrical. The colors are light yellow, white, red, black or translucent colorless. A glue melting pot shall be used for scraping, roller coating, spraying or extruding after melting.
2、 Stick shaped hot melt adhesive
Generally, it is a round stick shaped adhesive strip with a length of 150-300mm. The gluing tool is a hot-melt gun. The end of the adhesive strip is inserted into the barrel of the gun. After being heated, pull the trigger to push the adhesive strip forward and extrude the melt adhesive at the same time. The adhesive is yellow, white, red, or colorless and transparent. It is mainly used for bonding metal, electronic products, plastic parts and toys.
3、 Powder hot melt adhesive
It is mostly used for fabric and cushion, and the "coating" of glue must be realized through the powder spreader. When gluing, the gluing lining material is superposed with other substrates, and then it can be tightly glued by hot pressing. Such as adhesive lining for clothing, carpet backing and leather shoe lining. The pulverization of hot melt adhesive is difficult, because the friction heating during mechanical pulverization will cause the formation of sticky blocks, so chemical pulverization and cryogenic mechanical pulverization are required. The color is mostly natural.
4、 Thin film hot melt adhesive
Extrude the hot melt adhesive into thin film and roll products, cut them into the required size when using, and clip them between the base materials to achieve high bonding strength after hot pressing. The adhesive film can also be equipped with heat curing components, such as epoxy resin or cross-linking agent. The transparent adhesive film is used for manufacturing laminated safety glass for automobiles and packaging solar cells. They are polyurethane film, polyvinyl butyral film and EVA film. Transparent adhesive film is not required for bonding plates on automobiles and airplanes.
